ISSRE is a peer reviewed conference and receives submissions under different categories. The website lists these categories, describing what they are and what is expected from a potential author or presenter. Often looking through past conference proceedings or website helps gain a better idea of these tracks.

Each of the categories may have a slightly different process of peer review and acceptance criteria. They also differ in terms of the time line. For instance, the submission and review time line for the Research Papers is well ahead of the Fast Abstracts - which by design occur later in the cycle. Each "track" has its details and time lines described under their respective pages.
